We’re a multicultural, multigenerational, spirit filled church in the City of Aurora Colorado. City of God is a safe place for you and your family to encounter the love of Jesus Christ and also experience the supernatural power of God. We understand that everyone has been created with a divine purpose and assignment. We want to equip you to reach the fullness of the promises and purpose of God over your life.

Meet the pastors
Alex & Mayi Jimenez
Pators Alex and Mayi received the vision by God to plant their first church back in 2019. Together with their 2 children they left Florida and moved to Denver, Colorado in October 2020. City of God was founded on February 28, 2021.
As Founding pastors they carry an Apostolic and Prophetic grace for the times we are living in. They possess a passion for revival to break out in the nations of the World. Their mandate is to evangelize to the lost souls, set the captives free, and for the equipping and sending of the saints.

Here at City of God, we strive to do what Jesus tells us to:

Inner Healing and Deliverance Ministry
Every person has experienced hurts, wounds, betrayal, or any number of hardships in life. These things can often bring depression, anger, illness, and other issues into our lives and families. But, we believe that Jesus not only came to bring Salvation, but to set the the captives free, and that includes healing of the soul. When we experience Inner Healing and Deliverance, then we can truly walk in the Freedom and the Abundant life that Jesus Died to give us.

Evangelism and Community Outreach Ministry
Here at City of God, We believe in spreading the Gospel of the Jesus’ finished work of the Cross and the Love of the Father, as much as we believe in being the Hands and Feet of Jesus. Our goal is to see all come to Salvation, be set free in spirit, mind, and body, and to live the life that Jesus died to give us. We go into the streets and bring Jesus to the hurting, the broken, and the lost.
Worship
At City of God, we know that Worship is one of our Weapons of Spiritual Warfare. We believe that when we raise our hands in praise and worship, we show this as a sign of Victory to the enemy, and a sign of surrender to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is worthy of all of our praise. It is our honor to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Kingdom Kids Ministry
Our Kingdom Kids Ministry is unlike any other kids ministry. We have a dedicated team that desires to see these babes become mature believers in Christ at a young age. Here, we teach our kids strong Biblical Principles, foundational tools, and encourage learning the Word of God through Play, structured kid sized lesson plans, and worship.

Youth Night
In the difficult times we’re experiencing in our nations; we believe that God is calling and setting apart a radical remnant young generation to be the light of this world.
It’s our mandate to build young leaders that will set a standard of what it means to live and act like Jesus.
Join us, every other Friday @ 7pm as we prepare and introduce our youth to the promise of the Holy Spirit.
Joel 2:28 “It shall come about after this That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.”
Prayer and Intercession Ministry
Prayer is vital to our Spiritual walk and a requirement to a relationship with God our Father. At City of God, we meet for regular Prayer and Intercession, not only during Service, but throughout the week. As the Spirit leads we will also have special prayer nights or services, and have time set aside for Corporate Prayer and Fasting. Our Prayer and Intercession team prays with you in mind, and as we come before the Throne of Grace, we bring our prayers and petitions before the Lord with humble hearts.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
VISION
We have been called to take every City for the Kingdom of God.
We believe in pursuing the global mandate of the church to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son & the Holy Spirit.
This begins with revival in our city of Aurora, Colorado and the entire Denver region.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. The infallible word of God tells us, If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For in Jesus Christ all the fullness of the Godhead lived in bodily form.
